I guess I have to leave a review since all the other reviews were so helpfull to me. I love this recorder. I bought a factory refurbished one and have had no problems and saved more than half the price. BINGO! Basics - The picture is great. I use the v
Panasonic DMR-EZ48VK 1080p Upconverting VHS DVD Recorder with Built In Tuner is all that it is advertised to be. I have a basic reading comprehension for the new gadgets so I was suprised how easily I got through the instructions. Even more suprised the c
Got the product fast and just like new. I would order from this buyer again and again!!!!!
THIS IS A VERY NICE VHS/ DVD COMBO RECORDER, AND IT IS EASY TO OPERATE. IT COPYS VHS TAPES TO DVD DISK EASY. CAN RECIEVE DIGTAL BROADCAST IF THEY ARE FREE. IF YOU HAVE BASIC OR EXTENDED BASIC CABLE, IT WILL NOT RECIEVE ANY DIGTAL CABLE SIGNALS.
I am absolutely satisfied with this product. I would reccomend it to anybody. I'm glad I bought it refurbised, because it was even cheaper than the used, and it works just fine! This DVD and VHS player is great for transferring VHS tapes to DVD. I ac
THE INSTALLATION WAS SURPRISINGLY EASY WITH ALL THE CABLES SUPPLIED AS STATED. THE MATCH-UP WITH OUR PANASONIC PLASMA TV WAS A BREEZE. THE USE OF THE DVD AND VHS HAVE BEEN A PLEASURE TO WATCH AND NO PROBLEMS. NEXT WEEK STARTS MY FORAY WITH RECORDING WITH
Love it. It was easy to connect to tv. Recording is as easy as 1 2 3.
I'VE ONLY USED THIS VCR/DVD COMBO A SHORT TIME. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH IT. IT'S A GREAT VALUE, EASY TO OPERATE AND HAS A LOT OF FEATURES. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM.
Videotape recorders are getting harder and harder to find. This was the best option I was able to locate and it is a nice machine. Both the video recorder and DVD recorder work very well. I have not found any glitches and, after working with it for awh
I have owned a couple VCR/DVD recorders before and this unit "Panasonic DMR-EZ48VK" is definitely the Tops. A couple features that I think place this unit so far ahead of the competition are: Firmware updates. I was reading at Panasonics website
!st one they shipped, it had an part missing. I returned it, at no charge and they sent a new one in 7 days. Still reading the manual to learn all it can do and how to do it.
As usual, Panasonic has a great machine in this one. Earlier, I bought the EZ38VK (no tuner) and am very pleased with it also. This is the very same machine but with a tuner that pulls in more digital channels, and more stable too, than I could get with m
I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE I LIKE QUALITY AND THIS HAS IT. I READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE MAKING MY DECISION. JUST AS I THOUGHT MOST ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS OR PROBLEMS ARE BECAUSE OF BAD INSTRUCTION MANUAL. YOU MIGHT AS WELL THROW THIS MANUAL OUT THE WIN
I love this DVR. I look at stores in the area and was surprised to see that all of them was missing a tuner. How could this be! I like to record Judge Judy and other shows when I am at work and watch it as my decompression after a hard day at work.
I really love my dmr 48vk dvd-vhs recorder. The first thing I did was recording a old tape into a dvd. The sound and quality of the picture was amazing,so clear and color was great. If you want this in your home, pick it up! The price was a steal!!!!
Excellent product once you interpret the instructions! The instructions although comprehensive are not very clear. It took me ages to determine what I needed to do to make a DVD copy of a tape but once I got it the proves was excellent for eliminating par
I have been using the Panasonic DMR-EZ48K Upconverting VHS DVD Recorder/ATSC Tuner for a couple of weeks now and could not be more pleased with the unit. Purchased it as part of my preparation for the all digital conversion of over-the-air TV in February.
The auto scan flawlessly found all the analog and unscrambled digital channels offered by Comcast in my area. It does not have an HD tuner but does capture the widescreen 16:9 signals. If you record on DVD-RAM (not -R, -RW, +R, or +RW) it will record th
Finally a DVD recorder that actually works and is pretty easy to operate. Thus far I have tried recording from VHS to DVD several times with out any problems. One just can not beat the two button recording sequence. You press the specified VHS->DVD
...and we've owned three different brands in the last 5 years. This machine plays ANYTHING we throw at it (stuff recorded on two other DVD recorders---a year-old Liteon model, and a four-year old phillips dvdr75 which died two years ago!): dvd+r, dvd
Had this unit for about 4 months, never had a problem with it. Slow on the startup, but records great.
A "fully loaded with features" piece of electronic equipment, I found the Panasonic VHS/DVD/Digital Tuner combo still easy to setup and program. I'm definately not a techno-wizard-buff so easy setup was important. I bought the Panasonic DM
I have the EZ475VK and I love it. Fully expect that this model will be just as good.
I'd read many reviews on the DMR-EZ48VK before getting my unit about a week ago and was a little skeptical. Some people said the manual is terrible. Others complained about how long it takes to switch input modes. In my opinion the manual is as go
We have an extensive VHS and DVD movie collection and we also record movies/tv shows off the air. We had a separate VCR and Panasonic Hard Drive DVD player that we love for storing movies without disks. Unfortunately, the death of analog television mean
I had a panasonic camera that I was very impressed by. This quality of this unit is just as high as the camera I love. It was a bit pricey but that's my only dislike. The performance of this unit is wonderful. Crystal clear videos, as good as a D
I am very satisfied with this item which was refurbished by Panasonic. It is as good as new and is relatively simple to program for my needs, although there are many other features that are available but which I do not need to use at this time like playi
The Panasonic DVD Recorder/VCR w/digital tuner for the most part, is excellent. It records DVDs without a problem. It plays VHS Tapes without a problem. It even tunes in digital broadcasts with ease and clarity. I love it. Sometimes, though, it gives me a
I wanted an Upverting VHS DVD Recorder with a Tuner but the price for new units was a little steep. The online offer for a refurbished unit was just what I was looking for. I was pleased with all aspects of the sale and delivery and the DVD recorder has
It works very well 98% percent of the time, but occasionally I looses its mind as in freezes, or misses a turn on, or some other glitch related to its memory circuitry which makes me have to push the little reset button! This one is a replacement for the
I have purchased two of the Panasonic DMR-EZ48VK Recorders. It took me only a few minutes to set up the recorder, but a few days to understand the manual! Once I finally understood it, however, things went smoothly. I have a great many VHS tapes I want
Seems strange that the recorder doesn't have an eject feature on the remote. Otherwise we like the product.
The unit is nice, only problem so far is trying to stop a recording in middle, too many hoops to jump thru and just doesn't want to do it... But very very nice unit.
I have been doing basic DVD recording with this machine, and so far it has produced wonderful graphics and audio. I have yet to copy VHS to DVD or to record over extended hours, so I have not really put the unit to it's more challenging tests, but I
Easy to set up, program, etc. Only drawback I have found is it will not record from digital TV to VCR only to DVD.
If you're looking for a replacement to your old DVD/VCR combo to record your favorite TV programs while you're away,...and you dont want to pay cable every month, then this product is for you. That's why I bought it. You'll need an H
The unit works good & pretty easy to setup. One small thing that I personally don't like about the unit is the clock on the front of the unit doesn't display the time if the unit is on, It will only display the time if the unit is off. I e-m
Wasn't quite as east to setup as literature suggested, naturally, but everything seems to work OK and it does communicate with TV. Upconversions work just fine. well worth the monies.
Easy to use. Just wish it had a program guide so i would not have to spend time selecting the date, time, and creating a title for each program I wish to record. At least the selection of date and time is pretty easy. Worth the money.
Pansonic introduced this DVD recorder a year after its predecessor, the EZ47VK. The EZ47VK had almost the same feature set, but suffered from overheating problems. So Panasnic added a cooling fan with the EZ48VK. I bought this recorder to transfer VHS tap
Very good product with lots of features. I particularly like the ability to watch a DVD-RAM from the beginning while continuing to record (chasing-playback feature). If the product was more intuitively easy to use, I'd have given it 5 stars.
So far so good, I have had this product for a few weeks now and it records shows easily. I am using this with my old school TV and antenna (+digital converter box). The tuner will not find my digital channels, but I can still record easily as I just leave
This recorder has many good extras such as play while recording, audio at 1.3 speed as well as the ability to record double layer and record for 8 hours in exteneded mote. It has limited editing capabilities and I have noticed more drop outs in EP mode t
Got this to because a Panasonic DMRES30V VCR DVD recorder I purchased in November, 2005 which I used as a work horse recorder, bit the dust. I actually replaced the DMRES30V with a DMRES35VPS and replaced the 35VPS with the DME-EZ48VK which was easy to i
It's a nice unit, easy to set up, be sure you've got your cable box on pbs- and be ready to channel up on the unit if you normally use channel 4,Very easy set up just follow the on screen instructions, The unit is up to date and recognizes all c
The unit hooks up quickly using a HMDI cable. The picture is very good on DVD and digital broadcast. Tuning channels is slow and the unit locks up if you change channels too fast. No "recall" button for the last viewed channel. You also have
I mostly used this to record programs to disc when I'm out, but this also is good for dubbing VHS tapes to disc, to keep your programs for many years. Give it a try.
It was a good buy for the money; however, if you pause or stop the movie, when you re-start the DVD/VHS many times you have no sound. You have to fool around with it before you get the sound back...very annoying.
So far, so good. My use is for recording TV shows from antenna for use with a digital TV. This device is easy to use and set up; easy to record and re-record on DVD-RAM. Disappointed that with the included digital tuner it would not record on VHS after d
I liked this model because I used someone else's to transfer hi-8 home movies to DVD and became familiar with it. It takes time, reading, and some experimentation to get the settings the way they work best for you. For instance, I discarded initial b
