LG Network Blu-ray Players with Netflix, CinemaNow & YouTube

LG will be unveiling its new line of Blu-ray players next week at CES. This new line of players will be able to download movies in HD from Netflix, as well as YouTube and CinemaNow.

You might remember YouTube, the obscure little site where kids post extremely low resolution videos of themselves getting hurt while attempting skateboarding tricks.. Now you can have that same low resolution content delivered right to your ultra high resolution TV.

Why watch the Dark Knight in 1080p when you can watch some kid's home video in 10.80p? Isn't the whole point of getting a 1080p TV and a Blu-ray player to get away from the pixilation and compression that YouTube seems to have in spades?

Like it or not, it's just another feature that you probably won't use on your new player, but at least it can do it, if you want to.
